Casa Costa Nova Mar
The house replaces a pre-existent house that had not been used for decades because of its degradation and very poorly organized floors, with two bedrooms and no natural light.
It is a house with only one face to the sea and the dunes. The small lot (9x14mts) and the ambition of the intended program obliged to organize the interiors minimizing the circulations to maximize the living spaces.
In direct confrontation with the street, the house starts from the ground floor from more modest spaces and service - garage and storage, passing through an intermediate floor of three rooms with privative toilets to the upper floor, open and generous – the living room exposed to the Atlantic landscape and the connection to the outside terrace.
Joining the three floors a patio articulates the vertical and horizontal connections and balances the light that reaches the interior.
The light and the program organized both the choice of the materials and the composition of the facade. White marble flooring, white painted wood ceilings and dark venetians.
